How does O-Shot® work?
A small quantity of blood is drawn, similar to a blood test, and the healing component of the blood, plasma, is separated to provide us with purified and concentrated platelets. These platelets serve as “first responders,” travelling to any location in the body that requires repair. They direct a healing response once triggered by releasing growth and regeneration factors, stimulating vaginal and clitoral rejuvenation, and there is no downtime. Some patients even have sexual encounters on the same day.
PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is a technique used globally to quickly repair sports injuries and rejuvenate skin and faces. After a numbing cream is applied, this plasma is injected into the vagina, clitoris, and G spot regions with the PRP-Shot.

FAQ's O-Shot
Firstly, your blood is drawn by our registered nurse, just like during a blood test, into the specialised vials, and spun in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma. This process only takes a few minutes for the blood draw and an additional 5 minutes for the centrifuge to work its magic. The sites of the injection will be cleansed thoroughly, and a topical anaesthetic will be applied. The PRP is then injected into the clitoris and the vagina, releasing growth and regeneration factors, resulting in a rapid increase in stem cells that repair and rejuvenate the tissues.
Before your O-Shot treatment begins, the treatment area will be sanitised, a topical numbing cream will be applied to maximise your comfort throughout the treatment. After the topical anaesthetic has taken effect, you may feel the treatment is applied, but there should be very minimal to no discomfort.
After O-Shot treatment, the vaginal and clitoral tissues become healthier and renewed, the nerves become more responsive, and women become more able to feel and control the musculature there. Some women can become ejaculatory for the first time after the treatment and may experience a resurgence in sexual energy, desire, and sensitivity.
You may see/ experience some results starting at 2 or 3 weeks, with continued improvement over the next 3-6 months as the body settles into a higher rate of tissue regeneration.
There is approximately a 65% success rate with one treatment, which increases to approximately 85-90% with a second treatment within six months. We recommend planning for at least two treatments, as even those who have a good result will often opt for a second treatment.

The most common side effects of O-Shot therapy are injection site pain, swelling, redness, pinpoint bleeding and potentially bruising.
No specific aftercare is recommended after O-Shot treatment, other than waiting for the numbing cream to wear off before recommencing sexual activity. PRP is taken from your own blood, so it is unlikely to cause hypersensitivity on its own. Infection is also uncommon, especially with good aftercare, because PRP has antimicrobial properties.
We recommend that all patients undergoing treatment are well hydrated at the time of your treatment, so please ensure you drink plenty of water the day before, and the day of treatment. Otherwise, that’s pretty much it. It is important to let your practitioner know if you are taking any vitamins, supplements, or prescription medication prior to your appointment.
Immediately after treatment with O-Shot, there may be slight redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or an itching sensation in the treatment area. This is a normal result of the injection and generally disappears within a couple of days.
- Avoid waxing, laser, or any energy-based treatment for 2 weeks post-O-Shot treatment.

Like everything in this world, the O-Shot® is not a one-size-fits-all method for sexual performance or sex drive. Some women may experience the “wow factor,” whereas others may notice a more modest increase in sensitivity.
